Streaming Software Compatibility
NeoStreamShop widgets run in any streaming app that supports browser sources. Here is how compatibility works and which programs we recommend.
Every widget on the website is delivered as a browser source URL. You copy your personal link from your account, paste it into a Browser (or Web) source in your streaming software, and the widget loads like a web page on your stream.
Works with any browser-capable app
In practice, our widgets are compatible with any streaming software that lets you add a browser source (sometimes called “Web page”, “Browser”, or “Custom widget”). If your program can display a URL on stream, you can use NeoStreamShop widgets there.
Requirements are simple: a stable internet connection, a recent version of your streaming app, and enough canvas space for the widget (usually 1920×1080 unless your widget page specifies different dimensions).
Fully supported — tested end to end
We actively test and document setup for the following desktop streaming applications. You can expect full compatibility with alerts, configuration on the website, and our setup guides.
- OBS Studio 100% supported
- Streamlabs Desktop 100% supported
- Meld Studio 100% supported
- XSplit 100% supported
For step-by-step instructions on OBS and Streamlabs, see our Widget Setup Guide.
Supported with limitations
These platforms can run browser-based widgets, but availability and behavior depend on your account type, scene setup, and whether browser sources are enabled in your plan.
- Lightstream Depends on setup
On Lightstream, browser or custom overlay features may require a Professional (or equivalent paid) plan and correct project settings. If you use Lightstream, confirm that your subscription includes browser or custom URL sources, then add your NeoStreamShop widget URL the same way you would any other web overlay.
We do not provide dedicated Lightstream screenshots in our docs, but the widget URL and dimensions from your account page still apply. Contact Lightstream support if browser sources are missing from your dashboard.
Tips for a smooth setup
- Use the exact widget link from your NeoStreamShop account — do not reuse a link from Stream Elements or another marketplace unless you imported it through our site.
- Set the browser source width and height to the values shown on your widget page (often 1920×1080).
- On OBS and Streamlabs, disable browser source hardware acceleration if animations or alerts behave incorrectly (see the setup guide).
- Test triggers from the widget settings on the website; simulated alerts from third-party dashboards may not reach the widget.
